Finally found a cottage where I could engage in my favorite activities of golfing and cycling, and even had a garden! The cherry on top was the free WiFi, so I could share my adventures on social media.
Oh, just a minor detail, the WiFi signal was as weak as a mouse doing yoga. But who needs a strong connection when you're surrounded by nature, right?

stayed in penrith last time, but kidsty cottage was even better. clean, quiet, comfy bed, and all the basics. loved the location and friendly pub nearby. a great place to stay for a honeymoon.
Small bathroom layout made it difficult to access in case of emergencies.

We had a fantastic stay at Kidsty Cottage! The location was perfect for exploring both the north and south Lakes, with easy access to the motorway. The thick stone walls of the house provided a cool and comfortable retreat during the hot spell. We were actually surprised that the WiFi worked well in the sitting room, despite previous reviews mentioning intermittent connectivity. The local shops had everything we needed and the village had a friendly pub, The Kings Arms.

Great location near motorway- easy access to north and south Lakes. House with thick stone walls provided a cool haven during hot spell. WiFi was surprisingly fine for our needs in the sitting room. Local shops provided everything we needed.
Basic facilities only. No oven gloves, hairdryer, or dish drainer as suggested by previous guests.

Kidsty Cottage was absolutely charming! The room had a cozy vibe, like a warm hug from a dear friend. It made me feel like I was in a fairy tale cottage, surrounded by nature's beauty. The bathroom had a lovely shower too!
Although everything was great, I personally would have preferred an additional bathroom. It's just my personal preference, and others may still find it perfectly comfortable.

The bathroom was great, with a refreshing shower that was just what I needed after a long day exploring. It was clean and spacious, making me feel relaxed and at ease.
The only downside was that there was only one bathroom, but it didn't bother me too much.

The value for our money at this cozy cottage was really good. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary facilities and more. The location was perfect with plenty of shops, takeaways, pubs, and scenic walks nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The breakfast selection could benefit from a wider variety of options.

The location was sick, man! We could easily hit up the golf course and shred some serious greens, and then hop on our bikes and ride like crazy through the stunning countryside. It was all about that outdoor adventure, bro!
If there's one thing we would've loved more, it's a banging party room where we could crank up the tunes and dance the night away. Rocking out with our friends is what we live for, and having a dedicated space for that would've taken our stay to the next level.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. The decorations were tastefully done, with beautiful traditional furnishings and lovely artwork adorning the walls. The general areas of the hotel, especially the sitting room, were very inviting and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility excellent, with wide hallways and well-lit stairs that made it easy for me to navigate.
I wish there was a handrail on the staircase to provide extra support for senior guests.
